Lyrics
Do your ears hang low; Do they wobble to and fro? Can you tie ’em in a knot; Can you tie ’em in a bow? Can you throw ’em over your shoulder, Like a continental soldier? Do you ears hang low? Do your ears hang high; Do they point up to the sky? Do they wrinkle when they’re wet, Do they straighten when they dry? Can you signal to your neighbor With the minimum of labor, Do your ears hang high?
Actions
Start with placing your hands on the side of your head (with your thumbs touching your ears) like a dog with floppy ears. Act out rolling and tying a bow and then salute like a soldier. For the second verse again start with your thumbs to your ears but this time point your fingers up. When your wrinkle them up curl your fingers and then move them in a waving motion.
Comments
This is a standard song with a very creative and unique second verse.
