The cow kicked Nelly in the belly in the barn.

Lyrics

The cow kicked Nelly in the belly in the barn, The cow kicked Nelly in the belly in the barn, The cow kicked Nelly in the belly in the barn, and the farmer said it would do no harm, SECOND verse same as the FIRST, a little bit louder and a little bit worse. The cow kicked Nelly in the belly in the barn, The cow kicked Nelly in the belly in the barn, The cow kicked Nelly in the belly in the barn, and the farmer said it would do no harm, THIRD verse same as the FIRST, a little bit louder and a little bit worse.

Actions

Start off singing at a whisper and get louder on each verse, until you are as loud as you can go so the whole camp site can hear you, cubs love this! When you sing the line ‘SECOND verse same as the first a little bit louder and a little bit worse.’change the first word E.G ‘SECOND’.. TO THE RELEVANT LINE YOU ARE ON, SO IF YOU WERE ON THE EIGHTH VERSE IT WOULD SING ‘EIGHTH verse same as the first….’

Comments

Cubs absolutely love this song, it’s a silly but fun song for them, and is one of the best songs to start off a camp fire with. I sang it with my pack for the first time and the next day they were all singing it when ever they could. the cubs love to see their leaders make a fool of themselves at the camp fire!! A great song that can go on as long as you want it too.
